Basic Lassi

1 ½ to 2 cups plain full-fat yogurt

1 cup water

6 ice cubes

1 tsp salt



Place all ingredients in a strong blender and blend until smooth.  If lassi is too thick, add a little more water.  For a sweet lassi, substitute 2 tsp sugar or honey for the salt.  To make a mango lassi, add 1 cup of chopped fresh or frozen mango and 1 tsp of ground cardamom.
